From early childhood, the environment surrounding children greatly influences their understanding of relationships, values, and the world around them.
Keeping in mind the importance of community workers, ‘Helper’s Day’ was celebrated at Emerald Heights to instil an appreciation for the contributions of community workers among the students.
As a role play activity, it was mesmerising to see little doctors treating patients, vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables. There were ice-cream parlours and pizza stations for students to enact.
On one side, a young mechanic was seen working at the garage, while on the other side, there was a long queue of buyers in the little supermarket.
The students had a day filled with learning and fun.
