At the Emerald Heights we emphasize on PERSONALISED LEARNING which is possible when there is an education system in which assessment, curriculum, teaching style and out-of-hours provision are all designed to discover and nurture the unique talents of every child.
Laboratories: Each student has a different learning style, so to promote effective learning, we have introduced various innovative skill development laboratories for experiential learning. AP (Advanced Placement) Curriculum: The College Board offers AP program that allows students to take courses right in their high school that can earn them college credit and / or qualify them for more advanced classes when they begin college in USA / Canada. The school has audited its courses according to the AP curriculum and students can give the AP exams in May every year. The AP curriculum is especially offered for students who would like to pursue their under graduation abroad. We are the first open AP Test Administration Center in the Central India.
SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test): The school conducts SAT examinations throughout the year as per the norms set by the College Board. PSAT (Preliminary SAT) is offered to our students starting from Grade-VIII, which grooms the students significantly by the time they appear for SAT. We are also the centre for SAT, which is again offered by the College Board.
Career Guidance: The school runs a state-of-the-art career counseling and guidance cell which helps the students in gaining an insight into different career options. We host various foreign and Indian universities over the year.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): In order to assist our students with the easy access to IELTS registration and equipping them with the vast study resources, the school is now partnered with IDP IELTS. This way, our students get the first hand information on all the important updates by simply assessing it from home.
Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS): To make the application process easy for our students for higher education in UK universities we have registered with UCAS, a UK based organisation whose main role is to operate the application process. It provides several online application portals, a number of search tools and free information and advice to students considering higher education in UK.
Boarding Facility: The school has two separate air-cooled residential houses for girls and boys. The houses are well equipped with amenities to make our residential students comfortable. These include television and study rooms, table tennis and billiards facilities. The residential houses are managed by highly qualified and experienced wardens. The evening tutorials and classes are looked after by the teaching staff.
