The Community Service Club of Emerald Heights had the opportunity to visit the Indian Institute of Head and Neck Oncology, flagship project of the Indore Cancer Foundation Charitable Trust (ICF) on 22nd March 2025. The highlight of the visit was an insightful session with Ms. Priya Dutt, who shared valuable perspectives on cancer awareness. She emphasized the crucial role that informed and compassionate individuals play in making a tangible difference in society.
Ms. Priya Dutt, social worker and former Member of Parliament, is Chairperson, Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust. Ms. Dutt is a former Member of the Board of Permanent Trustees of ICF.
Her inspiring words left a lasting impression on our students, encouraging them to take proactive steps toward raising awareness and supporting those in need.
Witnessing the impactful work of ICF first-hand also deepened their understanding of the challenges faced by cancer patients and the importance of collective effort in bringing about change.
