Emeralites participated the Round Square Zoom Postcard event organised by SAI International Residential School, India on 10 April 2024 on the theme, “The World is One Family – Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.
Attended by students from various schools across the globe, the event aimed to explore the implications of the theme in the context of education, global interconnectedness, and cultural harmony.
Following the icebreaker, schools presented their perspectives on the theme through captivating presentations. Each presentation offered unique insights into how the concept of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” is interpreted and practised in different educational settings.
Participants actively engaged in a structured format of question-answer sessions, delving into critical issues such as the impact of global interconnectedness on education and the economy. Furthermore, the discussions explored strategies for schools to foster cultural harmony amidst diversity.
The student delegates represented our school were Prishita Gupta, Ansh Naidu, Garv Sharma, Manjari Joshi, Prithiya Saboo and Riddhi Darira of Class-IX. The teacher incharge for the collaborative project was Ms. Kirti Kotia.
