Emerald Heights Participated in the RS Zoom Postcard Organised by Dover College, United Kingdom, Based on the Theme “Old Walls, New Voices: How Do We Reimagine the Past?”

 Emerald Heights participated in the RS Zoom Postcard organised by Dover College, United Kingdom, based on the theme “Old Walls, New Voices: How Do We Reimagine the Past?” The meet brought together 70 students from 12 schools across India, Oman, and South Africa.
 

The session began with a discussion on the differences between modern and historical architecture, exploring how changing styles reflect evolving cultural values. In breakout rooms, students debated how modernization affects centuries-old monuments and whether new developments preserve or threaten heritage.

Overall, the session encouraged students to reflect on the need to safeguard cultural heritage while adapting to modern needs.
The delegates from Emerald Heights were Labdhi Jain, Saumya Goyal, Tiana Jain, Shashwat Boob, Milan Mukati, and Namami Sharma (Class XI), accompanied by Ms. Priyanka Agrawal.
