In a vibrant display of national pride, The Emerald Heights International School community came together to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of India. The programme began with a soulful performance by the AFS students, setting an inspiring tone for the day.
The celebrations included a harmonious choir presentation and a spirited patriotic showcase. A major highlight was the screening of Aarambh, Sangharsh, Uday, Sankalp—a tribute video tracing India’s journey from its ancient heritage and wisdom to its struggle for independence, and its emergence as a global leader in innovation and progress.
The festivities also embraced the cultural spirit of Krishna Janmashtami, with students from Classes VI to XII presenting a lively Janmashtami-themed dance performance.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold unity, integrity, and progress—honouring India’s glorious past while committing to a brighter, stronger future.
