Takshashila – The Centre for Career and Global Studies hosted representatives from 13 universities across the United States in collaboration with KIC UnivAssist.
One of the most encouraging conversations for students centred around test-optional admissions, opening up possibilities for those whose academic journey may not always be defined by a single standardised test.
University representatives introduced students to their distinctive programmes and unique offerings while also encouraging them to look beyond rankings. Discussions explored the importance of college towns, campus environments and, ultimately, finding a university that is the right fit for each student.
For our students, the visit was a reminder that there is no single pathway to studying in the US. There are different universities, different strengths and, most importantly, different possibilities for different students.
