Little Emeralites Explored Healthy Food, Hygiene and Nutritious Choices During Nutrition Week

A week filled with learning, exploring, playing and making healthy choices!
Our Pre-Primary learners celebrated Nutrition Week through a variety of fun and engaging hands-on activities designed to help them understand the importance of healthy food, hygiene and nutritious eating habits.

Nursery children explored healthy and unhealthy foods, enjoyed a pretend grocery-shopping experience and discovered the importance of washing hands through a fun pepper-and-soap experiment. Games, brushing activities and an awareness-filled story enactment by their teachers made the learning experience even more enjoyable.
LKG children learnt to make healthy food choices through food displays and a healthy grocery-shopping activity. They also designed their own healthy breakfast plates and participated in the Healthy–Unhealthy Pegging Game, a food Treasure Hunt and a Musical Freeze game.

UKG children experienced the fascinating journey of moong dal sprouting, from soaking and caring for the dal to observing its growth and preparing delicious Sprout Chaat. They recorded their observations through drawings and further explored the importance of nutrition through a special presentation.

Through these joyful experiences, our little learners discovered that eating healthy, staying clean and making good choices can be fun!
