Takshashila – The Centre for Career and Global Studies at Emerald Heights hosted an informative set of career guidance sessions for tenth graders, their parents, and senior school science students.
 

The sessions, led by Mr. Rajiv Khosla and Mr. Vikram Patel from Plaksha University, offered fresh perspectives on careers beyond traditional paths like engineering and medicine. They highlighted:

  • the importance of interdisciplinary learning,
  • the demands of the evolving corporate world,
  • and the rising relevance of new-age degrees tailored to the fourth industrial revolution

Students also gained a realistic understanding of the competitiveness of JEE and NEET, enriched by reflections from Emeralites who shared their personal journeys.

For tenth graders and parents, the sessions provided valuable guidance on choosing the right streams, balancing academics with co-curriculars, and building holistic profiles for the future.
