The school has two international standard cricket grounds. We host  Ranji Trophy matches every year. The school has produced good players in the past and hopes to continue to do the same in the future.

The school has four football grounds where we host numerous tournaments through out the year. The school football team wins various tournaments regularly and is  one of the best school football teams in the country.

Emerald Heights is the first school to introduce deco turf courts in Madhya Pradesh in the year 2000. Now, the school has six state-of-the-art deco turf courts  and three clay courts where students are trained to excel in Tennis.

We have built a table tennis hall with twenty five tables in the sports complex and also have placed tables in the residential houses. This is a very popular  sports among students and they make full use of the facility.

The school has nine badminton courts with wooden flooring in the sports complex. The school team performs well in this racquet and shuttle game.

The school has six glass back squash courts. The squash team have created a position for themselves at the national  level.

The school has built state-of-the-art running track of 400m. We are one of the few schools in India to provide infrastructure for athletics.

Volleyball:

The school has a twenty five metres swimming pool and the depth ranges from 4 to 16 feet. The school believes that swimming can help save a life someday, keeping this in mind it is compulsory for all the students to learn swimming. They need to have proper swimwear and swim goggles.

The school has four hard and two turf courts of which two indoors, two are outdoors and two are outdoor synthetic courts. The school teams have constantly performed well in state and national level tournaments. One of our basketball team members plays for the Indian Women Basketball Team.

The school has three volleyball courts and the students participate in all the tournaments associated with the sport.

The school has two automated indoor shooting ranges. One is 10m with 22 targets. The second one has two shooting ranges; 50m for .22 rifle and 25m for .22 and .32 pistol. The students participate in all state and national level tournaments associated with the sport and continuously bring accolades to the school.

The  school has two well maintained Hockey fields where India’s national game rises to a new level.

The school has a roller hockey rink where senior and junior students can be seen playing Quad hockey on wheeled skates.

The school has a computerized Chess room with the latest software. We know that playing chess keeps the mind sharp, keeping this in mind chess is compulsory for all junior classes. The school team has consistently performed well at all levels.

The school has an equipped gymnasium comprising of all latest machines for weight training and cardio exercises. This is used by senior students.

Keeping alive our international standard and our tradition of giving our students the best of the facilities, we have recently introduced Banked Skating Track in our school.

The school has two wings of NCC, The Air Wing and The Army Wing. Every session students enroll for NCC and are trained for two years followed by an NCC camp. The cadets are given basic military training in small arms. The goal of the organization is to engage and groom the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens.

The school has set up an adventure park equipped with forty seven different types of activities like lead and speed climbing; first and the only artificial climbing wall in M.P. with a height of 15m and width 5m, bouldering, rappelling, flying fox and obstacle course training to inculcate leadership and adventure spirit among young students. The adventure training is a part of our regular curriculum from VI grade on wards.

The school also has facilities and regular classes for billiards, gymnastics, yoga, judo, karate, taekwondo, kudo, hoopkwondo, handball, throwball and netball.

Dance

Recreational activities out spring the creativity of a student in the most productive manner. We provide the latest facilities for various art-forms to give students opportunities and add wings to their creativity.

Dance: The school has three state of the art sound proof dance rooms, with qualified and experienced trainers for Bharat Natyam, Kathak and Western Dance. The school profoundly believes in inculcating rich cultural values among all the  students. Adhering to the same, the school hosts a number of activities throughout the year. The dance groups regularly win awards at state and national level. The school also helps students to get certified qualifications in dance while they are in school itself.

 The school has sound proof music studios with qualified trainers for various music instruments. The orchestra group attunes together and exhibits its talent in all school functions.

The school has a sound proof music studio for vocal training with all the necessary equipment. The students can also enroll for a degree in vocal music while still in school.

The school have two dramatics studios and a tie-up with Helen O’Grady for the dramatics.

 The school has a huge art studio with a sitting capacity for forty students. The specialized instructors of different art forms train students and help them participate in national level events. The students can also qualify for certification in various art forms.

The craft studio gives students an opportunity to think outside the box with freedom to explore thereby channelizing their creativity.

The sculpture studio is equipped with state-of-the-art machines for clay modelling and the students are provided with opportunities to exhibit their models regularly.

Since the technology has a major impact on the visual arts and to provide our students with the platform to use digital tools in designing, we have recently introduced Digital Art in our school as a part of our Visual Arts curriculum. The studio uses latest CorelDraw software so that the students gets hands on with all the features used in designing and gets comfortable with the technology.
