Saathi – The Community Service Club of Emerald Heights Organised an Educational and Recreational Visit for the Anganwadi Children of Mahalaxmi Nagar, Indore

Saathi – The Community Service Club of Emerald Heights organised an educational and recreational visit for the Anganwadi children of Mahalaxmi Nagar, Indore. More than a welfare activity, the initiative was a meaningful learning experience designed to bring joy, knowledge, and inspiration to underprivileged children.

The children were taken on a visit to the zoo, and for many, it was their first-ever experience of seeing animals up close. The excitement and happiness reflected on their faces were truly heart-warming and served as a powerful reminder to our students of how simple experiences can hold immense value for those with limited means. The visit also sparked engaging conversations, allowing the children to observe different animals and learn about their habitats in a fun and interactive manner.

The programme was successfully conducted with the generous support of the Inner Wheel Club of Indore, whose members ensured the comfort, safety, and well-being of each child throughout the visit. This initiative not only sensitised students towards social responsibility but also nurtured empathy, compassion, and a deeper awareness of community service.
