The campus of The Emerald Heights International School reverberated with devotion, reverence, and gratitude as the school celebrated Guru Purnima — a sacred day dedicated to honouring teachers, mentors, and guiding lights.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome and a heartfelt reflection on the profound role of a guru in shaping lives. To mark the auspicious beginning, our esteemed President Sir was invited to light the ceremonial lamp and garland the portraits of the Guru and the school’s visionary founder, the late Smt. Suneeta Singh Ma’am, whose legacy continues to guide and inspire the institution.
The celebrations featured a series of captivating performances: a soulful musical rendition, a divine Ganesh Vandana, and a graceful dance tribute, followed by an energetic and reverent group performance of the traditional hymn “Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu.” The spirit of devotion continued with a heartfelt song, “Guru Meri Pooja,” beautifully performed by the students as a tribute to their teachers.
A thought-provoking speech underscored the timeless impact of educators and the significance of Guru Purnima in today’s world.
The event concluded with expressions of deep appreciation for the unwavering dedication and guidance of our teachers. It served as a meaningful reminder for all to carry the spirit of gratitude and respect for gurus not just on this day, but every day.
