We are excited to announce the formation of Cyber Security Council at The Emerald Heights International School on 21 September 2024 under the guidance of renowned cyber security expert, Dr. Rakshit Tandon. The council comprises of 68 students from Classes VI to XI as Cyber Security Ambassadors. This initiative aims to promote a safe, secure, and responsible use of technology within our school and parent’s community to stay one step ahead of the cyber threats.
Dr. Rakshit Tandon is a Cyber Security Evangelist and National Cyber Security Expert with two decades of experience in cyber security. Dr. Tandon is a consultant to the Haryana Police and a member of the Indian Police Foundation. Dr. Tandon is a keynote speaker and has been recognised with numerous awards, including an Honorary Doctorate in Cyber Security.
The Cyber Security Ambassadors will work closely with students and staff to:
- Raise awareness about cyber threats and safe internet practices.
- Educate the school community on how to protect peers
- Lead events, workshops, and campaigns on digital safety.
- Provide support and advice on online behaviour, cyberbullying, and data privacy.
