The Emerald Heights International School celebrated World Animal Day on 04 October 2024 with excitement and joy. The celebration began with a speech and the Thought of the Day, highlighting the importance of animals in our lives. The students spoke about the love, care, and loyalty animals show to humans and how their qualities inspire kindness and responsibility in us. They reminded everyone the need to treat animals with respect and compassion.
Following this, students from Class Nursery to II sang beautiful choir songs, celebrating the wonders of the animal kingdom. The highlight of the event was a series of lively dance performances, where children, dressed in colourful animal costumes, danced to cheerful music. Through these activities, students learned the significance of animals and their vital role in the environment. The assembly ended with a message on protecting animals, leaving students with the essence of compassion and care for all living beings.
