Emeralite Shailee Gupta of Class-XI Secured Gold and Bronze Medals at Asmita Khelo India Women’s Judo League (West Zone)

We are very proud to share that Emeralites, Shailee Gupta of Class-XI and Raghavi Khandelwal of Class-X made the state and the city proud by securing medals in Junior Category at Asmita Khelo India Women’s Judo League (West Zone). The competition was held at Meenatai Thakre Stadium, Nashik, Maharashtra from 31 August to 03 September 2024 wherein players from 8 states participated. The medal winners were –

• Shailee Gupta: Gold and Bronze Medals in +70Kg and +78Kg weight category respectively
• Raghavi Khandelwal of Class-X: Silver Medal in -63kg weight category
• Shailee Gupta and Raghavi Khandelwal received a cash prize of ₹8000 and ₹4000 respectively and both the players are selected for the Khelo India Youth Games 2025.
