In memory of our revered and visionary founder, Late Smt. Suneeta Singh, we organized the inaugural Smt. Suneeta Singh Memorial Invitational Girls’ Under-19 Inter School Football Tournament 2024. Held from 24th to 29th July 2024, the tournament featured seven teams from the city: Sanmati Higher Secondary School, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Vidyasagar School, Golden International School, St. Raphael’s Higher Secondary School, Emerald Heights Team-A, and Emerald Heights Team-B.
The tournament commenced with an opening ceremony graced by Mrs. Harshita Singh, Director of the school, who declared the event open. Over the course of the competition, the participating teams showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship.
Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar emerged as the winner of the tournament, with Emerald Heights Team-A and St. Raphael’s Higher Secondary School securing the first and second runner-up positions, respectively. The winners were felicitated by the chief guest of the closing ceremony, Ms. Jyoti Chouhan, a member of the Indian Women’s Team and the first woman from Madhya Pradesh to represent the Indian Football team.
