Emeralites attended the Online Round Square Zoom Postcard event, organised by Thomas More College, Kloof, South Africa on the theme, “Daring Optimism”. The session was attended by 150 participants hailing from 21 schools across 7 different countries, including Canada, China, India, Peru, South Africa, the UK, and the USA. A thought-provoking video and a PowerPoint presentation on optimism was shared, encompassing aspects such as current events, the challenges posed by limited knowledge, and personal experiences.
Subsequently, the participants were divided into “baraza” groups, where dedicated group leaders guided engaging discussions.
The student delegates represented our school were Brianna Baath, Ananya Wadhwani, Anviti Doshi, Divyansh Pharkya, Vivek Lulla and Saher Sarah Bariyawal.
