Our dynamic junior Environment Club embarked on a mission to discourage polythene carry bags and promote the use of eco-friendly cloth and paper bags to protect the environment. Our young environmentalists from Classes VI to VIII made hundreds of paper bags during their club activities and distributed it to the shopkeepers and fruits and vegetables vendors who are using plastic bags, at the nearby locality, Silicon City on 5th October, 2023. The students also spread awareness among these vendors by enlightening them about the harmful effects of plastic on the environment.
They also contributed to shelter the little birdies of our school campus with bird feeders and regular food supply. They thereby showcased their sensitivity towards the birds with whom we share our planet Earth.
Together, we can make a difference.
