First WLSA Exchange Programme

We had our first intercultural exchange with WLSA (World Leading Schools Association) in February 2018. A group of five students and an educator came from WLSA Fudan Academy, Shanghai, China and were hosted by us for twelve days. They were hosted by families of our students so that they get to know the Indian culture in a practical way. These students visited several places of historical importance like Ujjain, Mandu, Bhopal, Sanchi and Maheshwar. There were two special Heritage Walks arranged for them, to learn about the history and rich culture of Indore. They participated in our school activities including art, craft, sports and attended Hindi language classes. These students conducted Chinese language classes for students of our primary school. As a part of community service these students visited deaf and mute school and in the free eye check-up camp organised by the Emerald Heights International School in partnership with Ermitage International School of France in association with Choithram Netralaya.
