Facing elite shooters from across Asia, including Olympians and international medallists, Yash showcased extraordinary accuracy, mental strength and consistency to clinch the gold medal in his event.
He further enhanced his achievement by securing a bronze medal in the mixed team event, strengthening India’s presence on the international podium.
The highlight of the moment was hearing the Indian national anthem play as Yash stood proudly atop the podium, a deeply moving tribute to his dedication and the nation’s sporting spirit.
Yash’s journey has been marked by consistent excellence. He previously won gold at the 67th National Shooting Championship and delivered an impressive performance in the India Team B trials, reflecting his growing stature in Indian shooting.
