The formal proceedings of the 85th IPSC Principals’ Conclave began on 3rd January 2025 with a grand opening ceremony, marked by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. This significant ritual was performed by the Chief Guest, Dr. Himanshu Rai, Director-IIM Indore, along with Guests of Honour, Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive and Secretary-CISCE, Mr. Bhavin Shah, CEO and Director-Education World, Mr Parnab Mukherjee-Knowledge Resource Curator and a Performance Consultant and IPSC Executive Committee Members.
Simultaneously there was a unique live musical performance by our students featuring rare and a few obsolete instruments, which revives the sounds and traditions of a past era. Our students presented Saraswati Vandana, followed by the dance performance, an enchanting amalgamation of three classical dance forms—Kathak, Odissi, and Bharatnatyam.
The event was inaugurated with a welcome address by Mr. Siddharth Singh. Mr. Anil Kumar Sharma also delivered a warm welcome address, highlighting the importance of collaboration and exchange of ideas among educational leaders.
The Chief Guest for the occasion, Dr. Himanshu Rai, delivered the keynote speech. His address was deeply insightful and focused on the nature of human behaviour, leadership, and the role of educators in shaping future generations.
The Guests of Honour for the event, Dr. Joseph Emmanuel and Mr. Bhavin Shah added their valuable perspectives on the evolving landscape of education in India.
