Emerald Heights in association with ICTRC, Delhi, hosted a virtual conference for school Principals on the theme: ‘Preventing Mental Health Problems in School Children’. The conference was attended by more than 380 Principals and senior educators across the nation. Our school Director, Mr. Siddharth Singh gave the opening address and emphasized the significance of mental health in the overall development of students. The lead expert, Dr. V. S. Ravindran, aptly addressed on myths and misconceptions, prevalence of mental health problems in school children, causes and consequences of mental health issues, strategies for prevention, etc. The humongous takeaways brought immense satisfaction which was visible on the faces of the audience. The session concluded with the Q/A round and formal closing by Mr. Singh.
