Emeralite wins Silver Medal at the 3rd Khelo India Youth Games 2020 held at Guwahati, Assam

We are delighted to share that Anshika Gupta Class-X of the
Emerald Heights International School wins Silver Medal in Shooting at the 3rd
Khelo India Youth Games 2020 held from January 10-22, 2020 at Guwahati, Assam,
India. Anshika secures second position in 10m Air Rifle Shooting Girls Under-17
/ Junior category.

Yana Rathore, Raghav Gupta and Eshita Sharma of Class-XI of
our school also participated in the shooting event.

Shubham Patel Class-X of our school represents M.P. Team at
the Khelo India Football Tournament in Under-17 category.

This year’s Khelo India held in twenty disciplines played among the age groups of
under-17 and under-21
with the participation of thirty seven states and Union Territories.

Khelo India’s vision is to revive the India sports from the
grass-root level. Khelo India Youth games has been introduced to establish
India as a sporting super power by building a strong framework for all sports
played in our country and reviving the sports culture in India. Every year best performing 1000
participants are given an annual scholarship of ₹500,000 for 8 years to prepare them
for international sporting events.
