Emeralites win Consolation Prizes at the State Level Painting Competition organized by Narmada Hydro Electric Development Corporation (NHDC)

Narmada Hydro Electric Development Corporation (NHDC) – A Joint Venture of NHPC Limited & Government of Madhya Pradesh, organized the State Level Painting Competition in Bhopal, M.P. as a part of the National Power Conservation Campaign of the Union Ministry of Power, Government of India. The topic of the competition was, Energy Conservation. There were around 11.81 lakh students of 69,250 schools of the state participated. The competition was divided into two groups, Group-A for the students of Classes IV to VI and Group-B for Classes VII to IX. Gauri Sharma Class-IV and Kaushiki Khandelwal Class-VII won in Group-A and B respectively with cash prize of ₹9500 each.

His Excellency, Shri Lalji Tandon, Honorable Governor of Madhya Pradesh gave away prizes to the winners of state level and emphasized the need for inculcating the habit of conserving power in the children.
