Emerald Heights hosted All India IPSC U-17 Boys & Girls Basketball Tournament 2019-20

The Emerald Heights International School hosted the All India IPSC Under-17 Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament 2019-20 from October 14-17, 2019 wherein 34 teams from 25 schools participated in both the categories. Mr. Avinash Anand, Secretary – MP Basketball Association, Mr. Kulvinder Singh Gil, President – MP Basketball Association, Mr. Sunil Hardia, 1st Vikram Awardee from MP, Mr. Bhupinder Bandi, Trustee – National Basketball Association, Mr. Muktesh Singh, President – Emerald Heights and Mrs. Harshita Singh, Headmistress – Emerald Heights were the honoured guests at the opening ceremony of the tournament. It began with march past by all the 34 teams participated in the competition followed by cultural performance by our students. The participating schools were LK Singhania Education Centre Gotan, Motilal Nehru School of Sports Rai Haryana, The Lawrence School Lovedale Sainik School Kunjpura, The Mann School Delhi, BK Birla Centre For Education Pune, Mayo College Ajmer, Welham Boys’ School Dehradun, Delhi Public School RK Puram Delhi, Sainik School Bijapur, Vikas Vidyalaya Ranchi, The Punjab Public School Nabha, Pravara Public School Ahmednagar, The Sanskaar Valley School Bhopal, The Doon School Dehradun, Hansraj Morarji Public School Mumbai, Yadvindra Public School Patiala, Yadvindra Public School Mohali, The Daly College Indore, Mayo College Girls’ School Ajmer, The Lawrence School Sanawar, Vidya Devi Jindal School Hisar, Pinegrove School Himachal Pradesh and Welham Girls’ School Dehradun. In the closing ceremony the guest were Mr. Sunil Hardia – 1st Vikram Awardee from MP, Mr. Bhupinder Bandi – Trustee, National Basketball Association, Mr. Muktesh Singh – President Emerald Heights.
