The student of our school won an inter school English speech competition held at Guru Harkishan Public School, Indore, M.P. on November 02, 2017. The topic of the speech was, “What Stops India Being a Developed Nation” wherein Class IX-XII students participated from different schools of Indore. The winner was:

Raja Ram Mohan Roy Hindi Debate Competition

The Emerald Heights won an Inter School Hindi Debate Competition organized on 184th Death Anniversary of Raja Ram Mohan Roy by Madhya Bharat Varshiya Brahmo Samaj. The topic of the debate was Women Empowerment by Raja Ram Mohan Roy. The competition was held on September 26, 2017 at Madhya Bharat Varshiya Brahmo Samaj Hall, Indore, M.P. The winners were:

Spandan Debate Competition

In Spandan Interschool Hindi and English Debate Competition 2017 organised by Spandan Organisation at Pritamlal Dua Sabhagraha, Indore on September 20, 2017 two of our students secured 1st positions in Hindi category and one student got Consolation Prize in English category. The topic of the debate was “Life Satisfaction is a Matter of Choice”. Winners were:

The Emerald Heights School team wins the 45th Leo Inter School Quiz,  iLEOthon organized by the Leo Club of Indore at Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar School, Indore on September 01, 2017. There were two parts of the event- The Core Quiz and The Creative Round. The Core Quiz consists of a Written Preliminary followed by a Stage Round. Quiz Team comprises of:

The PI Quiz

The seven students of our school were selected in top sixty in the first round of the PI Quiz organised by IIM, Indore in nearly thirty schools all-over India on September 05, 2017. The rest of the three rounds were conducted in IIM on September 08, 09 & 10, 2017 to select the top 10 for final round. In the preliminary round one of our students secured 5th position.

Our students of Class-XII got both the first and second position in the Balsa Glider Making Competition organized by SGSITS, Indore on August 30, 2017. Robo-Soccer Competition

The Emerald Heights Robotics Team were the winners in the Robo-Soccer Competition organized by the Punjab Public School, Nabha on August 22-24, 2017 in collaboration with the Next Academy of Research and Robotics. A total of fifteen prestigious schools from across the country participated in this National Level Competition. The Emerald Heights team was comprised of:

The Emerald Heights School secured Second Position in Inter school Wildlife Quiz organised by Indore Municipal Corporation and Indore Zoological Park on the occasion of International Tiger Day on 28th July 2017 based on the theme “Wildlife”.

Gurukul Exam

The Emerald Heights’ student was the City Winner in the Gurukul Exam organised by the Nai Duniya. The exam tested the moral and ethical values of the students. The main aim is to inculcate the moral values enhancing a new vision with a moral beginning in the young minds.

Android Application

The students of Class-XII of our school developed an application with the help of Android Studio which could identify the frequency occurred at the current moment, example car honk, bike honk, doorbell, phone ring, etc.  As per the frequency the phone would vibrate in different patterns. With the help of this application we could successfully sense different vibrations and thus act accordingly.

Our budding computer wizard, Govind Maheshwari Class-XII had developed two games which were recognized and accepted by the Google and he was certified as a Successful Programmer:

World Debate Championship

Dev Seth  and Sahil  Lalwani of Class-XI were selected as apart of a team for India in the  two  prestigious International Debating events:

  • The World Schools Debate Championship
  • The Asian World Schools Debate Championship

Under the competition, they actively participated in a three month long process of online debating on motions based on a wide variety of topics, from ethics to radical policies and world economy; these three months also required extensive research and formation of research documents by candidates. Subsequently, they were  selected for a two-day-long final round held online for the selections for the national team of high school debaters for the Asian World Schools Debating Championships, 2017. In the final round Dev Seth qualified to the National Team and ranked 5th overall among 300 applicants.

He is the first person to have made it to the National Team from Central India. He further wishes to foster a culture of parliamentary debating in Central India with Emerald Heights at its forefront. Later this year, he will join the National Team at Thailand and will compete against debaters from over 56 nations for the Final Round.

It is a unique and first of its kind Sports based Quiz Contest which is majorly focused on enhancement and cultivation of the sporting culture across the budding generation and motivating them towards a bright and healthy future. Khush Baldwa Class-VI bagged 3rd Position in Group-A All-Over India. He is awarded with Certificate and Kindle.

In the ‘Live Life King Size-2’ Competition conducted by the College World at the Prestige Group of Institution, Sahil Lalwani Class-XI Secured the X-Position amongst 600 participants. He Won a Certificate of Appreciation along with a Stationary Kit sponsored by the College World. He was felicitated as the Youngest Achiever among the Top-10 participants.

Sound with Words

The Classmate and Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM launched Season-9 of Classmate Spellbee, the country’s largest Spelling Competition in Indore.

Our student emerged as the City Champion of Classmate Spellbee Season-9 and competed in the finals which were held at Mumbai. Here the Top-16 scorers from all across the nation competed with each other in an intense competition. In the Semi-finals Aman Palod Secured the I-Position in his group and thus advanced to the finale round where he was successfully declared as the Third Runner-up.

Technology for a Better Future

A Science Fair was held in the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore on the theme ‘Science and Technology For Better Future’. Around 40 prestigious schools was selected in the First Round. In the Second Round around 25 schools were given prominence and the Third Round witnessed a tough competition with five schools as competitors. Our school team gave a tough fight to the Daly College, Lokmanya Vidya Niketan and Saint Marino. Our students Won immense appraisal and secured the I-Position. They also received Certificate of Excellence along with a Cash Prize of ₹ 15,000 and a Trophy.

Vox Populi

Vox Populi is a Latin phrase that means “voice of the people”. Our school team had the prodigious opportunity of voicing out their beliefs and opinions in the VOX POPULI Inter-School Parliamentary Debate organized by Vidhigya School of Skills Academy. Our school team Won the competition and was honoured with a glittering Trophy and Certificates. This competition proved to be a great and enriching experience for all. The topic for the finale was “This House Will Demonetize Rupees 500 and 1000 Notes From the Very Next Day”.

Vinit Gupta Class-VII was awarded with a Silver Medal and a Certificate by the Hon’ble Collector Shri P. Narhari in the program oraganised by the Agrasen Social Group, Indore.

Great Orator

In an All-India Debate Competition at SDPS, Indore, Aadil Zakarya Class-VIII received great applause and appreciation and was awarded with a Consolation Prize. His topic was, “Is The Current Education System Capable of Inculcating Moral Values in Children ?”.

Expression with the Soul

In the Hindi Essay Writing Competition at Vaishna Kanya Vidyalaya, Riya Upadhyay Class-VIII secured the Prestigious II-Position. She was awarded with a Trophy and a Certificate.

Dramatised Oration

Shreyashi Pal Class-VI Won the ‘Delightful Dramatist Award’ on the theme ‘Friendship’ in  an Elocution Competition organised by ‘All For Kids’ Mumbai at the Daly College, Indore in which all the Prestigious Schools of Indore participated. Shreyashi was greatly applauded for her performance. This organization frequently conducts debate and for the primary and middle school student throughout the nation.


Our school team secured I-Position in an AD-Mad Competition organized by the Sahodaya Group at Medi-Caps University, Indore. The team had marveled at their creativity and originality of ideas. The topic assigned was ‘My Unnoticed Invention’. The students zealously produced a technically advanced Watch which had multiple features including the Anti-theft feature too.
