The Emerald Heights International School hosts the zonal round of the IRC School League Robotics Competition Season 9 on November 30, 2018 wherein 73 teams of 30 schools from M.P. and Maharashtra participated. The competition has three categories, junior, middle and senior. The Emerald Heights teams has given outstanding performances by winning in all the three categories. Four teams of our school qualified for the nationals to be held in Delhi on December 14-15, 2018. The theme of the competition was “R-ME (Robots in Missions and Expeditions)”. It challenges children to come up with highly advanced yet functional robots for various missions conducted by the Army, Navy and the Air Force. The objective is to design robots and machines that are capable of conducting sophisticated expeditions to strengthen our defences and for rescue operations. Mr. Anand Ingle of AVM Infotech announced the winners of the competition.
The IRC League is South Asia’s Biggest Robotics Competition that aims to celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and make innovation an area of passion for the young minds of the developing world. It intends to capture the attention of young innovators by giving them problems and challenges that not only stretch their imagination but also are burning issues.
