Emerald Heights wins the 46th Inter School Leo Quiz. The School Team also won the Scientifica Round and won runners-up position in the Creativity Round.
The youth of the city was immensely motivated and inspired to be a part of the 46th iLeothon. The theme of this edition of the quiz was Spies and Allies. A total of 15 schools participated in the 3 parts of the quiz, namely the Core quiz, the Creative quiz and the Scientifica science exhibition. After conducting the written rounds in majority of the city’s schools, the semi-finals were held at the Emerald Heights International School on the September 01, 2018. This year’s theme, Spies and Allies aimed at inculcating awareness about global know-how amongst the participants whereas, the topic for the science fair, was finding alternate sources of energy and it’s uses and applications. Tasks like making a doodle and then dividing it into a jigsaw puzzle, creating a story based on a picture and adapting a role reversal narration of the Mahabharat; were assigned to the participants of the Creative Round. Leo Vatsal Parikh, President of Leo Club of Indore says, “It’s a brilliant learning curve for us and our team, watching the students put in so much hard work and dedication. The hospitality of the Emerald Heights was unmatchable and we are obliged to conduct such a successful event at the venue”.
