First WLSA Exchange Programme

We had our first inter cultural exchange with WLSA (World Leading Schools Association) in February 2018. The WLSA Foundation is a member driven, international education non-profit that aims to bridge where east meets west in international education.  It is a joint educational foundation which aims to promote cooperation and academic exchange and culturally broadening programmes between leading associate secondary schools in the world as well as experts in the field of higher education and college counseling.

A group of five students and an educator came from WLSA Fudan Academy, Shanghai and were hosted by us for twelve days. They were hosted by families of our students so that they know the Indian culture better. These students visited several places of historical importance like Ujjain, Mandu, Bhopal, Sanchi and Maheshwar. There were two special Heritage Walks arranged for them, to learn about the history and rich culture of Indore.

In school they participated in art and craft and sports activities. They conducted Chinese language classes for students of our primary school and also attended Hindi language classes.

The students and teachers were also a part of Emerald-Ermitage-Choithram Netralaya community service.
