First Khelo India School Games: Yana Rathore Shoots Bronze

Yana Rathore makes our school proud by winning Bronze Medal in First Khelo India School Games 2018 held under Khelo India Programme organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India and National Rifle Association of India from January 31, 2018 to February 08, 2018 in Delhi. She stood on the podium after finishing third in the 10m Air Rifle Shooting (Women U-17) at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range. This is the first medal for Madhya Pradesh in the championship and she was selected among 1000 athletes and will receive ₹ 5 lakh per year as scholarship for the next 8 years from the Government.

Khelo India School Games is an annual competition and organised for school students between 10 to 18 years of age in order to identify talents and train them accordingly to become medal winners at the International Level. These games are telecast live on Star Sports channel. Khelo India is a national programme for the development of sports in India.
