The Hon’ble Former President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil along with her husband, Dr. Devisingh Shekhawat – an educator and ex-MLA visited The Emerald Heights International School. The program began with the performance of Vishnu Vandana followed by the welcoming of the Hon’ble Former President and other dignitaries. She felicitated all the winners of the national and international competitions namely; the students who secured 100 on 100 in CBSE Class XII and were a part of the 0.1 % in the nation to achieve the same, the students being Aryman Garg, Samurddhi Tare, Siddhesh Verma, Niharika Agrawal and Simranpreet Muchchal. Tanay Maheshwari, who topped Madhya Pradesh in the CA IPCC Exam 2017 with All-India Rank 49 was also felicitated alongside Aasya Patel, the No.1 Indian Squash player (U-13). Achievers at the National Level Debate Competition – Harmann Chabbra, Indian National Level Space Settlement Competition – Akshat Totla, Ansh Choudhary, Narayan Pharkya and Rigved Pandya, Khelo India Award, IPSC Dance Competition, International Painting Competition were also honoured. Lastly, Sakshi Singh who attained a scholarship of 1.25 crores from the Next Genius Foundation was acknowledged. Hon’ble President enlightened the students by speaking about the importance of academics as well as sports for the overall development of a child. She also remarked that the Emerald Heights is one of its kind and appreciated it for the culture and facilities it offers. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Muktesh Singh, President and Mrs. Harshita Singh, Headmistress of the Emerald Heights International School.
