Emerald Heights and AFS Intercultural Programs India Organized Online Art Competition – Alleviate 2017

The Emerald Heights International School in association with AFS Intercultural Programs India organised their first Online Art Competition – Alleviate 2017 for the students of AFS member schools of India to explore their creativity and exhibit their talent on the theme ‘Share Your Differences and Celebrate Your Similarities’. The students actively participated and expressed their thoughts, ideas and creativity. Indeed the art work was simple but intense. The total of 68 artworks were received from 15 schools and the top 15 paintings were featured in the Annual Calendar 2018 of AFS. The winners were Urvi Chaurasia – Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls Public School, Ishan Prakhar – Choithram School North Campus, Jonte Weixler – M P Patel English Medium School, Vinith. A – Chettinad Vidhyashram, Subhoshree Bose – Khaitan Public School Sahibabad, Anuraag Vaddi – Global City International School Bangalore, Hannah Octerbeck – Choithram School, Manik Bagh, Indore, Shah Suraj – St. Mary’s School Rajkot, Bhavya Sri Tamminana – Oakridge International School, Saba Tarannum – Sunbeam School Lahartara, Satvika Shriyadarshini – Summer Fields School New Delhi, Jasraj Singh Hora – The Emerald Heights International School, Heena Agrawal – Anand Vidya Vihar, Anviti Gujre – Billabong High International School and Margi Joshi – GNC School. The Emerald Heights and AFS thank all the partner schools for participating in the competition.
